縱情享樂用英語怎麼說

1. Settle the score

報仇，報復

等同於revenge， which involves hurting or punishing someone who has hurt or harmed you。

settle本身帶有“

了結，清算，結束爭端

”的含義，而score除了表示“得分”以外，還指“

欠賬; 宿怨

”，所以組合起來settle the score就是 “清算欠的舊賬（也可比喻做過的壞事），了結這段宿怨”，簡而言之就是“報復，報仇“。

這兩個集團之間有幾筆舊賬要了結。

It means we don‘t have much time availible / we need to hurry up。

喜達屋集團的酒店就算了。

如果不看字幕的話，我們可能要多揣摩一會兒才能翻譯這個意思。因為save在這裡的用法不像save time， save money或者save my life那樣的直譯。

“，Save your starwood points直譯應該是“避免喜達屋集團的酒店”，就是指他不喜歡喜達屋集團的酒店。當然這樣說會很生硬，若口語化後說“喜達屋集團的酒店

”顯得順很多。

所以在一定語境前提下，

scene在俚語當中有“

愛好

”的意思。If you say that an activity or place is not your scene， you mean that you do not like it or enjoy it。

be not my scene （活動/地方）不合我意

Lying on the beach all week isn’t my scene。

我不喜歡整個星期都躺在沙灘上。

This restaurant‘s not her scene。

這家餐廳不合她意。

5. Live it up, pal

live解作“享受生活”，live it up固定搭配指“

”，口語化的enjoy yourself。

There is no reason why you couldn‘t live it up once in a while。
