【辨析】

beg 表示請求時，含有懇求或謙恭的意思，常用於客套語中：

I beg him to stay。

我懇請他留下。

request 通常指比較正式地或有禮貌地邀請：

I request you all to be seated。

我請你們大家都坐下。

demand 有命令的意思，是來自權威方面且不打折扣的要求：

I demand to know the truth。

我要知道事實真相。
