注意live at 87前後兩兩可以連讀。

In the morning， Mr。 Sawyer goes to work and the children go to school。 Their father takes them to school every day。

1）注意如果讀的得快的話，work and前後可以連讀。

2）注意and the中，and中的d會發生爆破音的消失現象。

3）注意school中的ch會濁化為/g/。

4）注意如果的得快的話，school every前後可以連讀。

Mrs。 Sawyer stays at home every day。 She does the housework。 She always eats her lunch at noon。

1）注意stays at前後可以連讀。

2）注意at home前後會發生擊穿連讀，即home中的h“被擊穿”，不發音，所以at中的t與home中的o就連起來讀了。

3）注意如果讀得快的話，home every前後可以連讀。

4）注意eats her前後會發生擊穿連讀，即her中的h“被擊穿”，不發音，所以eats中的s與her中的er就連起來讀了。

5）注意lunch at前後可以連讀。

6）注意at noon中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。

In the afternoon， she usually sees her friends。 They often drink tea together。

1）注意the afternoon中定冠詞the的發音，因為afternoon是母音開頭，所以the中的e讀作［ɪ］。

2）注意sees her前後可以作擊穿連讀處理，即her中的h“被擊穿”，不發音，所以sees中的s與her中的er就連起來讀了。

3）注意drink tea中的k會發生爆破音的消失現象。

5、

In the evening， the children come home from school。 They arrive home early。 Mr。 Sawyer comes home from work。 He arrives home late。

1）注意the evening中evening是母音開頭，所以定冠詞the中的e要讀作［ɪ］。

2）注意home early前後可以連讀。

3）注意comes home和arrives home可以作擊穿連讀處理。

6、

At night， the children always do their homework。 Then they go to bed。 Mr。 Sawyer usually reads his newspaper， but sometimes he and his wife watch television。

1）注意at night中at中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。

2）注意but sometimes中，but中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。

3）注意and his中的d會發生爆破音的消失現象，也可以作擊穿連讀處理，即and的d和his中的is直接連起來讀。
