until是日常生活中常用的一個表示時間的詞彙，它

作介詞或連詞，意思是“到…時;

直到…為止”。

till

和until意思相同。 Till歷史更悠久，但一般為非正式用語，用的相對較少。

They played football until/ till it‘s dark。

他們踢足球踢到天黑。

I didn’t go to bed until/ till I finished reading the book。

我直到讀完這本書才睡覺。

I‘m not gonna say a word until/ till I get a lawyer。

當然，（主）句中的謂語動詞是延續性動詞，也可以用否定句，但表達的是不同意思。

I surfed the net until mother came back。

我上網衝浪直到媽媽回來。

互換。
